TPEB at the conference Future of the Czech Energy Sector
On May 11, an expert conference on the Future of Czech Energy focusing on the prospects of the Czech energy sectors took place in the Czech Parliament. The representative of the TPEB, Ing. Martin Hromada, Ph.D., in his contribution addressed the area of energy security while focusing on current trends and challenges associated with critical energy infrastructure protection. The core of his intervention lied in an appeal to stimulate strategic institutional support addressing the identified security issues of energy critical infrastructure entities. Within the framework of the conference, the TPEB also announced an intention to organize regular expert meetings of relevant stakeholders on a specific topic related to critical infrastructure protection. The first meeting focusing on the „Current Trends in Security and Stability of Energy Infrastructures“ is scheduled for September 13th in the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic Parliament Building. The aim of these events is to deepen the strategic dialogue among the state administration, owners and operators of critical infrastructure and technological companies leading to the identification of appropriate solutions and subsequent support of their implementation.
